| Caddie Program |
Rockrimmon Country Club is proud of their outstanding caddie program. We have a cross section of high school and college students, teachers and professional caddies. The Caddie Master is Bruce Thomashauer
Caddies are rated by the members and Caddie Master.
We have 3 levels of caddies:
White Bib (Master Caddie): Qualifications include having caddied a number of rounds and having expertise in yardages and reading of the greens. They have experience with the membership and can advise the member in all facets of the game.
Green Bib: Qualifications include having caddied a number of rounds and are well versed in yardages and reading of the greens. Not as experienced and knowledgeable as White bibs.
Red Bib: These are individuals new to the game and to Rockrimmon Country Club. They must attend caddie academies sponsored by the Metropolitan Golf Association, as well as participate in continuous training with the Caddie Master.
As the caddies get more experience, they will be evaluated. Based on the evaluation, they have an opportunity to elevate to a more advanced bib. The members are proud of the program and volunteer to invest their time by accepting to take out the red and green bib caddies to train them in the nuances and rules of caddying.
Rockrimmon Country Club donates time and money to the Caddie Scholarship of the Westchester Golf Association. The club has been recognized as one of the leaders in the support of this program.
